I decided that I like Blogspot better than WordPress. It’s just easier to use. So, here’s the link:

Just a few minutes ago, I finished editing my 2009 NaNoWriMo novel.
It’s far from perfect, and it probably will never be perfect, but you know what? For this one, it’s okay. It was a very personal novel, more one I HAD to write (it’s been floating around begging to be written since I was 11 years old, though it’s changed a ton since then.) I doubt I’m going to do much with it now, other than let a couple friends read it. I’m just glad I stuck with it – I’m not very good at editing yet, but I learned a lot. Now time to start the next one.
I also figured out how to spell ‘necessary’, and this is a great achievement.
MARCH IS HERE.
I haaaaaaaate February. Like for srs. It’s the shortest month of the year and yet it felt like the longest. What’s with that? The rest of the winter went by in the blink of an eye, but February dragged on forever.
But enough dwelling on the horrid time that is winter. It’s not warm yet, but it already feels like spring to me. Even the sunlight looks different.
Good news! I’m almost done with editing my 2009 NaNoWriMo novel. I was going to be done with it today, then realized the 11 page long last chapter, parts of which I have yet to write, was in another document for reasons I can’t begin to imagine. *face!palm* It’s far from perfect, but I can now get my proof-copy prize without feeling like a failure. I’m also going to get my 08′ NanoNovel edited as much as possible before April, when my mom and I are teaming up for ScriptFrenzy! (www.scriptfrenzy.org) We’re not taking it too seriously, though, more using it for an opportunity to get our ideas down for the webcomic we plan on collaborating on. It involves vampires. And Dungeons and Dragons. It will be epic. (How many moms will write a webcomic with you? You can’t tell me that isn’t cool.)
UM. I’m hungry. And I’ve recently become obsessed with food photography, and cooking (specifically baking.) The problem? I have no oven at the moment. But SOON, I will, and I will go on a baking marathon. And take lots of pictures. I’ve been collecting recipes and reading lots of food blogs lately – considering taking that up, food blogging that is. Should I start a different blog for that? Or just keep it here? It’s not as if I update here enough anyway XD
Oh, speaking of photos – I’ve been taking lots. You can see them at my deviantART page, or on my Flickr. Both links are over there on the sidebar, along with some awesome blogs you should be looking at instead of this one. Oh, and I drew a new picture, which is also on my deviantART page.
I guess that’s all for now! Peace ouutt.
So. Things you should look at.

I don’t seem to be very good at this whole blogging thing XD I keep abandoning it. Sorry!
So, um… updates. I’m currently editing my NaNoWriMo novel from 2009 (at least enough that I can read it without cringing) and then I’ll be editing the one from 2008. My self imposed deadline is to have them edited as much as possible before April, in time for ScriptFrenzy (speaking of which, anyone doing this? It’s like NaNoWriMo but you write a script) which I believe my mom and I are going to collaborate on :P I’m also still trying to work on my Labyrinth fanfic, wanting to write tons of other things, wanting to draw and paint, and may be co-writing a manga.
Craziness.
OH, I did a new drawing. I’m really pleased with it, too. Here it is:

Bad quality, sorry >_<
Oh, and another thing.
Modest Mouse is the best band ever.
That is all.
I’ve been neglecting wordpress so much D: I honestly forgot about it for a while. I’m not very good at this blogging thing.
So for the past two days, I’ve done pretty much nothing but draw. Nothing good enough to show anyone, though – my new year’s resolution was to get better at different styles of drawing, which at the moment seems to be semi-realistic cartoon/comic-ish, so that’s what I’ve been working at. I figured out how to draw Jareth (the Goblin King) with a WTF expression on his face (no reference, either! *happydance* Probably because I stare at him so much I have his face memorized) and one of my original characters in 3/4 view. Can’t quite figure out profiles and front view yet, but I’m getting there. Also can’t draw bodies yet – I can draw my manikin, but making him look like a person? I have no idea how XD. But it’s been pretty fun.
Oh, Christmas was awesome. Me and my family, plus one of my best friends and his kids, all had a mini-xmas party where we had a dead tree, decorated Halloween sugar cookies, listened to creepy music, and watched The Nightmare Before Christmas (the soundtrack of which I just bought. good times.) So that was pretty great XD
Sooo…yeah. I guess that’s it for now. I promise I’m not ignoring you guys, I’ve been very overwhelmed by all the projects I’m trying to work on lately :P I get inspired for a bazillion things all at once, but I never have time to actually do any of them. Kind of a predicament.
…after like, a bazillion years. I suck.
But anyway, I finally finished and uploaded chapter 6, if anyone in interested in reading it… reviews are appreciated :) Here is a link to the fic:

Also, I posted a new drawing:
It’s supposed to be L from the anime and movie Death Note, one of my favorite shows, but it doesn’t really look anything like him. Sigh. (Charcoal, carbon, and graphite pencils.)
Aaand a photograph, taken with my flippin’ awesome new camera. Edited in Photoshop a bit.
So, yeah. I have a bazillion writing projects I want to do, and I have no time to do them. I’m attempting to edit last year’s NaNoWriMo novel, but I have no idea what I’m doing (any tips?) and I desperately want to hula-hoop, but it’s too friggin’ cold outside. Heck, it’s too friggin’ cold inside. I don’t want to do anything but sit by the woodstove… sigh.
I’m over winter already.

Last year around this time, I was freaking out about not being able to write my novel because I had no idea what was going to happen. I had barely any outline at all, almost no idea of that the end of the story was going to be like.
Today I am freaking out because I DO know what is going to happen. Every single thing. I outlined EVERY scene. And my novel is being so boring that not only would I not want to read it if I picked it up at a library or bookstore, I am having trouble writing it. I’ve been telling, not showing, which I hate, but it’s like I’ve forgotten how to show. My characters are dull. I’m even at a part of my story that was supposed to be super exciting – I was so looking forward to writing it, and now it’s hard to even sit at the computer to type it down because it’s so bland and boring.
I’m never going to do anything with this story other than get the Createspace proof copy, I just need it out of my head, so I almost feel like I shouldn’t bother trying to make it exciting, but I don’t want to give up on it. I want to write an EPICALLY AWESOME Bartimaeus Trilogy fanfic, I want to continue my other work in progress, I want to start drawing more again, I want I want I want I want…
I want to do anything but write this story, pretty much, but I NEED to finish it.
I need help.
I’m going to ask for a camera for Christmas! Well, my mom and I are. My problem is, I know nothing about cameras. I don’t know what model to get or anything. It can’t be hugely expensive (mid-range price) and it has to have macro capabilities.
I want to do some research and look at various models before I ask for it, so if anyone has links, that would be lovely! Thank you very much :3

NaNoWriMo update!
33,949 and I have yet to hit the Week Two wall – things are still going great, I’m almost right on schedule – I’m trying to write a chapter a day.
If you’re doing NaNo – are you going to take advantage of the CreateSpace offer (get a free proof-copy of your novel) if/when you win?
I definately am. I forgot about it last year, but I wish I had done it. This year I will have a real novel I can… hide from people. Yeah. XD
